Hello. I'm a 29 year old Senior Designer &
Art Director out of the greater Boston area.
I have a huge passion for all things design and thrive on translating client aspirations into successful design solutions. As a professional problem solver I pour current modern trends and extreme functionality into every project. 6 years, numerous design opportunities and clients later, I am now a strong proponent and practitioner of eye-catching and impactful design.
What inspired you to this line of work?
At a relatively young age I noticed that I love creating something from it's most basic elements. After a few years of finding out what I was and wasn't good at, I attempted to create a website. It wasn't long after that I noticed that I had a talent for design. Now it's just not a career, but a passion.
How do you define good graphic design?
Graphic design is layout and composition to deliver an effective visual communication to it's target audience. This visual communication is brought to life through various elements such as typography, copy, photography, texture, and color. A good designer knows how to deliver a message to its target audience using these elements, however complex or simple it may be.
If you weren't a designer, what career field would you be in?
I've put a lot of thought into this and I honestly couldn't say for sure. I love music and would most likely try to be in that industry in some way.
